(b) The Registry shall be a public record and be
evidence to the same extent as are Land Records [as
provided in Article 35, §40 of this Code].
134.
(a) All records and other information procured by
the Faculty, component societies, in-hospital staff
committees and national medical societies or groups
organized for research which contain the identity of any
person are confidential records.
(1) Access to and use of such confidential records
shall be regulated by [§ 101 of Article 35 and §10 of
Article 75C of this Code] §5-302 AND §10-205 (A) OF THE
COURTS ARTICLE OF THE CODE.
SECTION 9. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
22(c) of Article 43B - Comprehensive Drug Abase Control
and Rehabilitation Act, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it
is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

(c) Access to and use of any such records, reports,
statements, notes, or other information also are
protected and regulated by the provisions of [§101 of
Article 35 and §10 of Article 75C] §5-302 AND §10-205(A)
OF THE COURTS ARTICLE OF THE CODE.
SECTION 10. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
8 of Article 54 - Hall of Records, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)
be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

original papers, official books, records, documents or
files offered to it under the provisions of § 7, then the
custodian thereof, with the written approval of the Board
of Public Works, is authorized and empowered to destroy
