Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources
9-202.

(c) After a hearing in the local subdivision
affected, the Board shall decide if issuance of the
license is in the best interest of the State, taking into
account the varying ecological, economic, developmental,
recreational, and aesthetic values each application
presents. If the Board decides to issue the license, it
shall be for consideration and on terms and conditions
the Board determines. Every license shall be in writing.
WITH RESPECT TO AN APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE TO FILL OR

CONSTRUCT A SHORE EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURE ON STATE

WETLANDS, THE BOARD MAY ISSUE THE LICENSE WITHOUT A
HEARING IF THE FILL AREA IS LESS THAN 300 FEET IN LENGTH
PARALLEL TO THE FAST LAND AND NOT MORE THAN 10 FEET
CHANNELWARD OF THE MEAN HIGH WATER LINE AND IF THE REPORT
OF THE SECRETARY RECOMMENDS THAT THE LICENSE BE GRANTED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Allegany County — State's Attorney's Office

FOR the purpose of prohibiting the Allegany County
State's Attorney from engaging in the private
practice of law, deleting the minimum salary

qualifications__for the Deputy State's Attorney,

[[increasing the salary of the deputy State's
attorney,]] authorizing an assistant State's
attorney and establishing his [[salary and]] duties,
and permitting the deputy and assistant to engage in
the private practice of law.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 10 — Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact
