St. Mary's County — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of providing that all persons of a
certain age shall be allowed all the rights of a
consumer in regard to light wine, and clarifying the
language.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 182 of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

182.

(a) It shall be unlawful for any minor in St.
Mary's County to attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages
or to drink, or have in his possession, any alcoholic
beverages in any public place or on any public highway.
The word "minor" shall apply to every person under
[twenty—one (21)] 21 years of age, except bona fide
employees in their course of employment and whose
