SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

(House Bill 833)
AN ACT concerning

Calvert County — Dogs

FOP the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners,
by ordinance, to prohibit any dog running at large
within a platted subdivision or district zoned
residential, subject to certain conditions;
permitting the County Commissioners to determine the
amount of license fees after public notice and
requiring proof of rabies vaccinations; repealing
the requirement of mandatory destruction of
impounded dogs after a certain period; and
clarifying the language therein.
