UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE SECRETARY OF
TRANSPORTATION, AND SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE
GOVERNOR;

(III)  TWO MEMBERS SHALL BE CHOSEN BY THE
GOVERNOR FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. AT LEAST ONE OF WHOM
MAY NOT BE AN ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT. THESE MEMBERS SERVE
FOR A TERM OF FOUR YEARS;

(IV)   THE FLOATING MEMBER SHALL BE THE HEAD OF
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING MODAL ADMINISTRATIONS, OR HIS
DESIGNED, WHICH IS PRESENTING THE PROPOSAL FOR PROCURING
ARCHITECTURAL OR ENGINEERING SERVICES AND WHO SERVES FOR
THE PURPOSES SET FORTH IN SECTION 231-P:

(A) THE STATE AVIATION__ADMINISTRATION

(B) THE MARYLAND PORT ADMINISTRATION
(C) THE MASS TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION

(D) THE MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION
(E) THE STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION

(2) THE GENERAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SELECTION
BOARD IS A PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES.
IT CONSISTS OF FOUR PERMANENT MEMBERS AND ONE FLOATING
MEMBER AS FOLLOWS:

(I)    THE SECRETARY OF GENERAL SERVICES, OR
HIS DESIGNEE, IS AN EX OFFICIO MEMBER, AND HAS THE POWER
TO VOTE;

(II)   ONE MEMBER SHALL BE CHOSEN BY THE
GOVERNOR FROM WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES

UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE SECRETARY OF GENERAL

SERVICES, AND SERVES AT THE PLEASURE OF THE GOVERNOR;

(III) TWO MEMBERS SHALL BE CHOSEN BY THE

GOVERNOR FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AT LEAST ONE OF WHOM

MAY NOT BE AN ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT. THESE MEMBERS SERVE
FOR A TERM OF FOUR YEARS;

(IV) THE FLOATING MEMBER SHALL BE THE HEAD OF
THE USING AUTHORITY, AS DEFINED BY SECTION 231G OF THIS
ARTICLE OF THE CODE, OR HIS DESIGNEE, WHICH IS PRESENTING
THE PROPOSAL TO THE BOARD FOR PROCURING ARCHITECTURAL OR
ENGINEERING SERVICES AND WHO SERVES FOR THE PURPOSES SET
FORTH IN SECTION 231-P.

[[(C)]] (B) THE MEMBERS MAY BE REMOVED BY THE
GOVERNOR FOR MISCONDUCT, INCOMPETENCY, NEGLECT OF DUTY OR
