(viii) Breach of warranty.

(12) Any action to enjoin the sale, distribution,
showing or display of property alleged to be in violation
of the obscenity laws of [this] THE state.

12-60 8. [Construction of subtitle.] UNIFORMITY OF
INTERPRETATION.

This subtitle shall be SO INTERPRETED AND construed
to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law
of [those] THE states which enact it.

12-609.

This subtitle may be cited as the MARYLAND Uniform
Certification of Questions of Law Act.

SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, §5-201
of Chapter 2, of the Acts of 1973, 1st Special Session,
does not apply to a cause of action which accrued prior
to January 1, 1974. With respect to any such cause of
action, the pertinent provision of Article 57, Annotated
Code of Maryland, and particularly §2 of Article 57,
shall apply as though this Article was not repealed.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This language is added to clarify
the effect of Code revision of proceedings
instituted according to Article 57 of the
Code. The language is substantually identical
to that appearing as subsection (c) of §21 of
Chapter 2 of the 1st Special Session. The
phrase "which accrued prior to January 1,
1974. With respect to any such cause of
action," was inadvertently omitted from the
3rd reader copy of Chapter 2, and is included
here.

SECTION 9. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the

law or be considered to have been enacted as a part of
