SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any and
all obligations issued pursuant to the authority of this
Act their transfer, the interest payable thereon, and any
income derived therefrom, including any profit made in
the sale or exchange thereof, shall be and is hereby
declared to be exempt from State, county and municipal
taxation of every kind and nature whatsoever in the State
of Maryland.

SECTION 9. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Strip Mining — Revegetation Bond

FOR the purpose of removing the maximum limit on
revegetation bonds so that the Land Reclamation
Committee may establish a bond requirement which
reflects the actual estimate cost of reclamation;
and making a stylistic change.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 7-510(a) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974
Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
