shall be fixed by the board not exceeding [$7,500 nor
less than $6,500. ] [[$8,100 NOR LESS THAN $7,020]] $8,500
NOR LESS THAN $7,500. There shall be a full-time
secretary to the board whose annual salary shall be fixed
by the board not exceeding [$6,360 nor less than $5,500],
[[$6,869 NOR LESS THAN $5,940]] $7,360 NOR LESS THAN
$6,500, and a full—time cleric to the board at any annual
salary of $3,300, and an attorney to the board, at an
annual salary of $3,000.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of this Act shall not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary of the Anne Arundel County Board
of License Commissioners in office on the effective date
of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning
the salary of the Anne Arundel County Board of License
Commissioners shall take effect at the beginning of the
next following term of office.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning
The Racing Commission — Fingerprints
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Racing Commission to
require that certain persons associated with horse
racing furnish their fingerprints to the Commission
and to provide that the fingerprinting be done by
certain governmental law enforcement agencies,
private security agencies designated by the
Commission, or by the Maryland Racing Commission.
