(C) EVERY PERSON CONVICTED OF VIOLATION OF THIS
SECTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO PUNISHMENT OF A FINE NOT TO
EXCEED $100.]] THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL PUBLISH COPIES OR

SUMMARIES OF THE REGULATIONS AND LAWS OF THIS STATE

REGULATING THE OPERATION OF BICYCLES AND MAKE COPIES

AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST, AT COST, TO EVERY DEALER ENGAGED

IN THE RETAIL SALE OF BICYCLES IN MARYLAND, WHO SHALL

EXCEPT IN GARRETT [[COUNTY]] AND ALLEGANY COUNTIES

PROVIDE A COPY TO EACH PERSON WHO PURCHASES A BICYCLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect. [[July 1, 1974]] January 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

The Maryland Register

and the
Code of Maryland Regulations

FOR the purpose of creating [[and]] the "State Documents

Law" subtitle; including definitions; establishing

certain procedures for the compilation of the Code

of Maryland Regulations; enumerating certain

documents contained therein and permitting certain
annotations; providing document deposit and filing

procedures and for publication of the Code of

Maryland Regulations; creating the Maryland Register
and requiring the inclusion therein of certain
documents; establishing certain procedures relating

to publication, synopses of rules and regulations,

permanent supplements and annotations therein, and

exclusion and omission of certain material;

providing certain procedures for the deposit of

certain rules and regulations and other documents,

including court rules; establishing certain

guidelines for the publication, pricing and

distribution of the Register; authorizing the making

of contractual arrangements; establishing certain

procedures for the determination of official texts
