Wife, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement
Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 45 — Husband and Wife
19.

A [husband] PERSON bringing a personal action to
recover in right of his [wife] OR HER SPOUSE after [her]
THE SPOUSE'S death may declare specifically setting forth
in the usual manner how the debt or right accrued to [his
wife] THE SPOUSE, and stating further that by marriage
the debt or right devolved on him OR HER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Baltimore City — Retaliatory Eviction

FOR the purpose of prohibiting the eviction of a tenant
by a landlord for certain reasons, and providing
attorney's fees for a judgment for the tenant.

Section 9-10

Article 4 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1969 Edition, as amended by Chapter 687 of
the Acts of 1971)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 9—10 be and it is hereby added
to the Public Local Laws of Baltimore City being Article
4 of the Code of public Local Laws of Maryland (1969
Edition, as amended by Chapter 687 of the Acts of 1971)
to read as follows:
