1966 LAWS OF MARYLAND [Ch. 583 ballot labels to be used at this election the title of this Act and underneath the title, on separate lines, a square or box to the right of and opposite the words: "Against Refineries" and a corresponding square or box to the right of and opposite the words "For Refineries" so that each voter of the county may designate his or her majority of the votes cast in the election are "Against Refineries" the provisions of this Act shall become effective on the 30th day following the official canvass of votes for the referendum, but if a majority of the votes cast in the election are "For Refineries" the provisions of this Act shall be of no effect and null and SECTION [[2]] 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three—fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same to the provisions of Section 2 herein and for the sole purpose of providing for the referendum therein required, Approved May 10, 1974.
