office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act concerning the salary of the
county commissioners shall take effect at the beginning
of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

AN ACT concerning

Oysters — Migratory Waterfowl Season

FOR the purpose of prohibiting catching of oysters in
Charles County within a certain distance of a
stationary blind or blind site which is being used
for hunting during the migratory waterfowl season.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 4-1006(c) be and it is hereby
added to Article — Natural Resources, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1974 Volume) to read as follows:

4-1006.

(C) DURING THE OPEN SEASON FOR MIGRATORY WATERFOWL,
A PERSON MAY NOT CATCH OYSTERS IN CHARLES COUNTY WITHIN
500 YARDS OF ANY STATIONARY BLIND OR BLIND SITE WHICH IS
OCCUPIED AND IS BEING USED FOR HUNTING MIGRATORY
WATERFOWL.
