AN ACT concerning

Hard Crabs - Season for Catching

FOR the purpose of eliminating an exception for Worcester
County with regard to the season for catching hard
crabs in waters of the State.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4-808 of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974
Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Natural Resources

4-808.

A person may not catch hard crabs in any waters of
the State, [except in the waters of Worcester County,]
between January 1 and April 1.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Polluted Waters — State Department of Health Charts

FOR the purpose of requiring that certain charts
concerning polluted waters be filed with certain
groups, making copies of these charts available to
the Department of Natural Resources, clarifying
language, and adding numbering as expropriate.
