to determine if [such] THE application comes within the
provisions of this section. The application and the
action taken thereon by the County Commissioners of
Carroll County [shall be] IS a public record. [Such] THE
permit [shall] MAY not authorize the operation of any
[such] carnival, bazaar, raffle or game on the Sabbath
Day, commonly called Sunday.
(C) Any person, association or corporation
knowingly operating or attempting to operate a carnival,
bazaar, raffle, or game as authorized by this section in
violation thereof, shall upon conviction thereof, be
subject to a fine not exceeding [$1,000,00] $1,000, or
imprisonment for not more than one year, or both in the
discretion of the court.
(D) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION OF THIS SECTION,
IN CARROLL COUNTY, IT IS LAWFUL AT ANY CARNIVAL, BAZAAR
OR RAFFLE AUTHORIZED BY THIS SECTION TO AWARD PRIZES IN
CASH TOTALING UP TO $10 TO ANY ONE PERSON AND IN
MERCHANDISE TOTALING UP TO $250 TO ANY ONE PERSON IN ANY
ONE GAME OR SPIN BY DEVICES THAT ARE COMMONLY KNOWN AS
PADDLEWHEELS OR WHEELS OF FORTUNE. AN ORGANIZATION MAY
NOT HOLD MORE THAN TEN DAYS OF PADDLEWHEEL GAMES IN ANY
ONE CALENDER YEAR.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1971-

Health — Acupuncture
FOR the purpose of permitting an unlicensed individual to
perform acupuncture under the supervision of a
licensed physician; authorizing the Board of Medical
Examiners to regulate the performance of
acupuncture, and including provisions relating to
the performance of acupuncture.
BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,
Article 43 - Health
Sections 122(b) and 119(f)
