adulterated or unfit for human consumption, he shall
segregate them and mark them in a permanent manner to
permit ready identification. If no appeal is taken
[form] FROM a determination of condemnation, the
Secretary shall destroy them in a manner prescribed by
the rules and regulations. If an appeal is taken, the
condemned shell eggs shall be segregated and stored
pending completion of an appeal inspection. The eggs may
be destroyed in accordance with this section if the
appeal is sustained.

(b) The deducted assessment for any month shall be
remitted by the purchaser to the Secretary by the 20th
day of the following month, AMD the Secretary shall pay
the amount of the assessment to the certified agency.

11-206.

(a) Unless otherwise provided, the local inspector
of a city or county and a deputy local inspector, when
acting under his instructions and at his direction, has
the same powers and shall perform the same duties within
the city or county where he is appointed as are granted
to and imposed upon the Secretary by §§ 11—209, 11—211,
11-212, 11-214, 11-215, and 11-216. Homer, the
jurisdiction of a local inspector does not extend to any
other jurisdiction permitted by § [11-203] 11-202.

(f) "Sample" means the portion of the producer's

shipment that is drawn and placed into an approved

container and used for an analysis of milk[,] components
on which payment to the producer is based.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
