officer, shall be admitted at all such trials in the sane
manner as the originals would be if produced. Copies of
any other papers of a public nature, and remaining in
possession of a public officer, and VOTER AUTHORITY CARDS
OR extracts from the pollbooks, under the hand and seal
of the clerk of the court or public officer in whose
office they are deposited, shall be admitted as evidence.
The votes recorded on the voting machines shall be proved
in the sane Banner as is provided by § 17—8 of this
article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
