(g) Each recipient of a scholarship under this
section, after certification as a teacher OF persons with
impaired hearing, including the deaf, shall teach in a
school for the deaf, a public school program, or a
State—approved nonpublic school program for persons with
impaired hearing, including the deaf, in the State for a
minimum period of one year for each year a scholarship
under this section was held by the recipient.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 9(o), 50 (b), 233(e), and 409 of
Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be
and they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
