Loans] CONSUMER CREDIT, with no diminution of seniority,
retirement rights or salary, and they shall continue as
State Merit System employees under the provisions of
Article 64A of the Code title "Merit System," and under
Article 73B of the Code [titled], TITLE "Pensions"; and
for the purposes of seniority, retirement rights,
vacation, and salary they shall receive fall credit for
all previous employment in the State Merit System.
(c) All books, papers, files, records, furniture,
fixtures, and all other personal property owned by or in
the custody of the office of the [Administrator of Loan
Laws] COMMISSIONER OF SMALL LOANS on June 30, [1970] 1974
shall be transferred to and be in the ownership and
custody of the Commissioner of [Small Loans] CONSUMES
CREDIT, and shall be used for the operation and
administration of his office as herein created.
(d) All appropriations and credits on the books,
papers, and accounts of any department or other agency of
this state, for and to the credit of the office of the
[Administrator of Loan Laws] COMMISSIONER OF SMALL LOANS,
as of June 30, [1970] 1974 and all liabilities and
obligations of the office of the [Administrator of Loan
Laws] COMMISSIONER OF SMALL LOANS as of June 30, [1970]
1974 shall be transferred to and become the
appropriations, credits, liabilities, and obligations of
the office of the Commissioner of [Small Loans] CONSUMER
CREDIT herein created.
(e) All references to the office of the
[Administrator of Loan Laws,] COMMISSIONER OF SMALL LOANS
as of June 30, [1970] 1974 on the books, papers, and
records of any department or agency of the State
government or of any department or agency of [the] ANY
political subdivision of this State or in any
regulations, orders, or directives of any such department
or agency, from and after July 1, [1970] 1974 shall be
deemed and construed to be references to the office of
the Commissioner of [Small Loans] CONSUMER CREDIT.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
