AN ACT concerning

State Employees - Political Activities

FOR the purpose of prohibiting employees of the State
from [[soliciting]] requiring other employees
[[for]] to make political contributions [[or
political work, requiring exempt and nonexempt
positions be filled on the basis of merit and]],
protecting rights for voluntary participation in the
political process , and defining certain terms.

Section 14B

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1971 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 14B be and it is hereby added
to Article 4 1 — Governor — Executive and Administrative
Departments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) to read as
follows:
