3-205.

The trustees may appoint a Director of the Trust to
administer its activities subject to the Trustees'
supervision. They may employ other persons as necessary.
The director and staff are employees of the [Trust and
not the] State, BUT THE DIRECTOR SHALL NOT BE A
[[MEMBERS]] MEMBER OF THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE. The
Trustees may remove the Director [[and any other
employee]] at their will.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Secretary of Natural Resources — Appointment
of Staff Assistants

FOR the purpose of allowing the Secretary of Natural
Resources to appoint such staff assistants, to serve
at his pleasure, as are necessary to administer
areas of responsibilities established within the
Secretary's office.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 1-101(d) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
