establishing compensation rates and the basic rates for
vacation and sick leave credit earnings.

(B) WITH RESPECT TO VACATION AND SICK LEAVE CREDIT

EARNINGS, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION APPLY TO ALL

PROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL EMPLOYED BY THE MARYLAND STATE
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PRIOR TO JULY 1, 1972.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

MARYLAND, That Section 443(b) of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
