department; the president of the University of Maryland;
the agent in charge of the Baltimore office of the
F.B.I.; the president of the Eastern Shore Police
Association; A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MARYLAND STATE LODGE
OF FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE; the deputy secretary of
public safety and correctional services for public
safety; and three police officials of the State to be
appointed by the Secretary of Public Safety and
Correctional Services, with the approval of the Governor,
and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to
represent the State geographically, the appointments to
be made for a three—year term provided that, for the
first term, one official shall be appointed for a term of
one year, one for a term of two years, and one for a term
of three years.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning
Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments
— Maryland Industrial Land Act
FOR the purpose of increasing the dollar limit on loans
made under the Industrial Land Act and authorizing
such loans to be made for projects on certain lands
owned by the Federal Government upon reasonable
assurance that the site will be made available to a
subdivision of the State , and changing the terms of
repayment of loans made under the Industrial Land
Act.
BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
