(g) "Surveyor" means the person elected or
appointed pursuant to Article VII, §2, of the State
constitution as county surveyor for the county to which a
warrant of survey or resurvey is to be directed.
However, if this office is not elected or appointed in
the county, "surveyor" means any person [reelected]
REGISTERED in the State to practice land surveying.

(17)  Section [8-204(b)] 8-203(B) applies only
to those leases entered into, renegotiated, or renewed
after July 1, 1972.

(18)  Section [8-204(e)] 8-203 (E) applies only
to those security deposits held by a landlord prior to
July 1, 1972, with interest accruing from July 1, 1972,
security deposits received by the landlord after July 1,
1972, with interest accruing from date of receipt.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
