GOVERNMENT, FOUNDATIONS AND PRIVATE SOURCES IN ADDITION
TO STATE FUNDING.

(F)    THE COMMISSION MAY APPOINT AND DETERMINE THE
COMPENSATION OF PERSONNEL IT DEEMS NECESSARY,- SUBJECT TO
THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OR AS PROVIDED
FOR IN THE BUDGET.

(G)    THE COMMISSION SHALL CONTINUE UNTIL THE
TERMINATION OF THE MARYLAND BICENTENNIAL OBSERVANCE, AT
WHICH TIME THE COMMISSION'S CONTINUATION SHALL BE
REVIEWED.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three—fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 109 of Article 56 - Licenses, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume
and 1973 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
