Article — Real Property
5-104.

No action may be brought on any contract for the
sale or disposition of land or of any interest in or
concerning land unless the contract [or agreement] on
which the action is brought, or some memorandum or note
of it, is in writing and signed by the party to be
charged or some other person lawfully authorized by him.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 12B(a), 35A (a), 35A(b)(5),
36E(a)(4), 231(a), 442(e)(3), 467A (a) , 522, 534N(a),
534R(b)(3), and 639A(a) (2) of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and they are
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
