night during the crab season when the shore owner or a
member of his family is residing at the owner's shore
property. Any person catching crabs in this manner shall
use them for personal consumption only and may not sell
them. The provisions of this section do not apply in the
Potomac River.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 1-102(c) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974
Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(c) Unless otherwise provided by this Article,
each advisory commission created by law consists of five
members appointed by the Governor, with the advice of the
Secretary to serve at the pleasure of the Governor. FROM
AND AFTER JULY 1, 1974, THE SPORT FISHERIES ADVISORY
COMMISSION SHALL HAVE ONE ADDITIONAL MEMBER [[WHOM]] WHO
shall be a resident of Western Maryland. A member shall
be knowledgeable in the area of interest of the advisory
