Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
66.
(c) In Kent County, all licenses shall be issued
ONLY for THREE, SIX, NINE, OR twelve [or nine or six
months'] MONTH periods [only], to begin from the first
day of May in the year of their issue, and shall be
claimed within one month after renewal- [, provided,
however, that] HOWEVER, when [such licenses are issued
for a period or six months, one half only] A THREE, SIX,
OR NINE MONTH LICENSE IS ISSUED, ONLY ONE QUARTER, ONE
HALF, OR THREE QUARTERS of the annual fee, AS THE CASE
MAY BE, [herein provided for] shall be charged. Nothing
in this subsection [shall] MAY be construed to prevent a
holder of a [6 months' ] THREE, SIX OR NINE MONTH license
from applying for a renewal of [such 6 months'] THAT
license pursuant to the procedure set forth in Section 68
of this article.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning
Dorchester County - Court Employees
FOR the purpose of providing for the employment and
compensation of certain employees of the circuit
court in Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 143A be and it is hereby added
to the Public Local Laws of Dorchester County being
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1951 Edition), to read as follows;
