Senator Snyder, from Finance Committee, reported favorably, with
amendments, SENATE BILL NO. 10—By Senator James:

Subject: "GOVERNOR—EXECUTIVE AND ADMINISTRATIVE
DEPARTMENTS."

AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL NO. 10
By the Senate Finance Committee:

In lines 33 and 34 of Section 245(c) on page 2 of the printed bill, strike
out the words "APPROPRIATE COMMITTEES OF THE TWO HOUSES,
RESPECTIVELY" and insert in lieu thereof the words "JOINT BUDGET
AND AUDIT COMMITTEE".

Which amendment was read and adopted.
Favorable report adopted.

Which was read the second time and ordered printed for its third
reading.

Senator Bishop moved, duly seconded, to withdraw Senate Bill No. 16
from the Rules Committee and to re-refer Senate Bill No. 16 to the Judicial
Proceedings Committee.

Said motion failed by yeas and nays.

Senator Crawford moved, duly seconded, to reconsider the vote by
which Senate Bill No. 16 failed to be withdrawn from the Rules Com-
mittee and be re-referred to the Judicial Proceedings Committee and that
the vote on said motion be made a Special Order for Wednesday, August
22, 1973.

Solid motion prevailed by yeas and nays.

ADJOURNMENT

Senate adjourned until Wednesday, August 22, 1973 at 12:00 o'clock noon.
