Amendment No. 18—

On page 3-52, in line 3, immediately after the period, add the following:
"THE COMPTROLLER SHALL MAINTAIN THE METHOD OF
COLLECTION OF THE SURCHARGE FROM THE COMPANIES
AND THE COLLECTIONS SHALL ACCRUE TO THE 'FUND'.
THE UTILITIES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY INTO THE FUND
A GREATER AMOUNT THAN THAT WHICH HAS BEEN COL-
LECTED LESS 1½% FOR EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE COL-
LECTION OF THE SURCHARGE."

Amendment No. 19—

On page 3-53, in line 20, delete the words "AND EVALUATE"
and insert in lieu thereof the words "IN DETERMINING AND EVAL-

Amendment No. 20

On page 3-54, in line 10, delete the word "CONSTRUCTION" and insert
in lieu thereof the word "CONSTRUCTIVE".

Amendment No. 21—

On page 3-54, strike all of lines 16 through 40, inclusive; on page 3-55,
strike all of lines 1 through 49, inclusive; and on page 3-56, strike all of
lines 1-7, inclusive.

Amendment No. 22—

On Page 3-57 strike everything after the "." in line 11 up to and in-
cluding the "." in line 18 and insert in lieu thereof as a new paragraph
the following:

"THE SECRETARY SHALL STATE TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE
COMMISSION WHICH POSSIBLE AND PROPOSED SITES,
BASED ON PRELIMINARY ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT,
JUSTIFY AN UNSUITABLE CLASSIFICATION. UNLESS THE
ELECTRIC COMPANY WHOSE PROPOSED SITE IS INVOLVED
OFFERS THE SECRETARY SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE TO THE
CONTRARY, THE SITE SHALL BE DELETED FROM THE
PLAN. THE SITE MAY BE INCLUDED IN A SUBSEQUENT
TEN-YEAR PLAN."
