LANDOWNERS.

(B)   A RIPARIAN OWNER WHO OWNS LESS THAN REQUIRED
AMOUNT OF SHORELINE. - SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
SUBSECTIONS (C) AND (D), A RIPARIAN OWNER WHO OWNS
LESS THAN THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF SHORELINE, HIS
LESSEE, LICENSEE, OR ASSIGNEE SHALL PLACE THE STAKES
AT LEAST 300 YARDS FROM THE NEAREST LICENSED
STATIONARY BLIND OR BLIND SITE.

(C)    PERSON PLACING BLINDS IN WATER OF BALTIMORE
COUNTY OR IN THE POTOMAC RIVER TRIBUTARIES OF CHARLES
COUNTY. - IN THE WATERS OF BALTIMORE COUNTY OR IN THE
POTOMAC RIVER TRIBUTARIES OF CHARLES COUNTY, A PERSON
MAY NOT PLACE A STATIONARY BLIND OR BLIND SITE LESS
THAN 250 YARDS FROM THE NEAREST LICENSED STATIONARY
BLIND OR BLIND SITE.

(D)    PERSON PLACING BLINDS IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY
OPPOSITE SHORELINE OF ANNE ARUNDEL AND CALVERT
COUNTIES. - IN THE WATERS OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY
OPPOSITE THE SHORELINES OF ANNE ARUNDEL AND CALVERT
COUNTIES, A PERSON MAY NOT PLACE A STATIONARY BLIND OR
BLIND SITE LESS THAN 700 YARDS FROM THE NEAREST
LICENSED STATIONARY BLIND OR BLIND SITE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) is new language
derived from a similar provision in Article
66C, section 154(e) of the Code.
Subsection (b) is new language derived from
Article 66C, section 154(b) of the Code.
Language is added to indicate that the
provisions of this subsection are subject
to the provisions of proposed subsections

(c)  and (d) .

Subsection (c) is new language derived from
Article 66C, section 1 56(b), and subsection

(d)  is new language derived from Article
66C, section 157(b). Language is added to
both subsections to conform them
stylistically to subsections (a) and (b).

10-618. REQUIRED DISTANCE FROM SHORELINE.

(A) DISTANCE FROM SHORE - IN GENERAL. - A PERSON
MAY NOT ERECT OR MAINTAIN A STATIONARY BLIND OR BLIND
SITE FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHOOTING WILD WATERFOWL AT A
GREATER DISTANCE THAN ONE THIRD THE DISTANCE FROM THE
SHORELINE TO THE OPPOSITE SHORE, OR 300 YARDS FROM THE
SHORELINE, WHICHEVER IS LESS. THE SECRETARY SHALL BE
