Article 96A, section 86 of the Code. The
last sentence is proposed for deletion by
the legislative council because it is
unnecessary. There are no extant
reciprocal agreements and one is not likely
to be entered into because Maryland has the
most stringent license requirement and
charges the highest fees. Furthermore,
this provision is a poor interstate policy.

8-613. ENGAGING IN WELL DRILLING BUSINESS WITHOUT
LICENSE.
A PERSON MAY NOT ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF
DRILLING ANY WELL FOR WHICH A LICENSED WELL DRILLER IS
REQUIRED WITHOUT OBTAINING A LICENSE. A SEPARATE
OFFENSE SHALL EXIST ON EACH DAY A VIOLATION OCCURS.

penalty provision is proposed for deletion
in light of the uniform penalty provision
of this title. The only other changes made

(A) IN THIS SUBTITLE, THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE
THE MEANINGS INDICATED.
