CHAPTER 281
(Senate Bill 1149)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 7-3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Garrett County (1971 Edition, being Article 12 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Garrett County," to provide
that each Commissioner shall devote two days of each week to carrying out the
duties of the office.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 7-3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Garrett
County (1971 Edition, being Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Garrett County," is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
7-3.
The County Commissioners of Garrett County shall meet in regular session on
Monday of each week, and remain in session so long as may be necessary to
properly transact the business of the county. IN ADDITION, EACH
COMMISSIONER SHALL DEVOTE TWO DAYS OF EACH WEEK TO
CARRYING OUT THE DUTIES OF THE OFFICE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 161 and 161 of Article
23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and 1971 Sup-
plement), title "Corporations," subtitle "Associations," to require that the Mary-
land Savings-Share Insurance Corporation be appointed receiver or conservator in
the event of insolvency of certain savings and loan associations, and relating gener-
ally to receiverships and conservatorships of savings and loan associations.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 161 and 161L of Article 23 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement), title
"Corporations," subtitle "Associations," be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
