(House Bill 697)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 24(b) of Article 25 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Supplement), title "County
Commissioners," subtitle "General Provisions," to provide that publication of a
summary of county expenses is sufficient with the itemized statement available
for public examination in Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 24(b) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Supplement), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "General
Provisions," is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
24.
(b) Provided that in St. Mary's, DORCHESTER, and Frederick counties it
shall not be necessary to publish an itemized statement of county expenses, but a
summary of such statement shall be published as required herein, and such an
itemized statement shall be available for public examination in the office of the
clerk to the county commissioners.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3(aa) of Article 25 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "County
Commissioners," subtitle "General Provisions," to permit Dorchester County to
license and regulate itinerant or door-to-door salesmen and to license and
regulate public amusements.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 3(aa) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle
"General Provisions," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
