(g-1) In Kent and Wicomico counties, the annual license fee for such a license
shall be THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) AND one hundred dollars
($100.00), RESPECTIVELY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 892)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 83(d), 85(b), (c), (d),
and 86(c) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours
and Days for Sale," changing the hours during which the privileges conferred by
different classes of liquor licenses may be exercised in Kent County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 83(d), 85(b), (c), (d), and 86(c) of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale," be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, all to read as follows:

83.

(d) The hours during which the privileges conferred by a Class D beer license
may be exercised shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock midnight. Provided
that (1) in Garrett County the hours shall be from 7 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock
midnight, (2) in Howard County land Kent County] the hours shall be from 6
o'clock a.m. to 1 o'clock a.m., AND IN KENT COUNTY THE HOURS
SHALL BE FROM 6 O'CLOCK A.M. TO 2 O'CLOCK A.M., (3) in
Montgomery County the hours shall be from 9 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock
midnight, (4) and in Prince George's County the hours shall be from 6 o'clock
a.m. to 2 o'clock a.m. on the day following.

(b)  The hours during which the privileges conferred by a Class B beer, wine and
liquor license may be exercised shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 2 o'clock a.m. on
the day following. Provided, that (1) in Annapolis the hours shall be as fixed by
the mayor, counsellor and aldermen of the City of Annapolis, and (2) [in Kent
County the hours shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 1 o'clock a.m.) in Queen Anne's
County the hours shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock midnight. In
Montgomery County the hours shall be from 11 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock
midnight.

(c)  The hours during which the privileges conferred by a Class C beer, wine and
liquor license may be exercised shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 2 o'clock a.m. the
