J. HEARINGS WILL BE INFORMAL AND THE FORMAL

K. APPEAL SHALL LIE FROM THE FINAL
ADMINISTRATIVE REMEDIAL (ORDER) DIRECTIVE OF THE
BOARD OF ETHICS TO THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THE ORDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
MARYLAND RULES OF PROCEDURE.
L. THE BOARD SHALL SUBMIT, NOT LATER THAN
DECEMBER 15 OF EACH YEAR, TO THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE
AND TO THE COUNTY COUNCIL, A REPORT OF ITS
ACTIVITIES UNDER THIS SECTION COVERING THE
IMMEDIATELY PRECEEDING CALENDAR YEAR, INCLUDING A
SUMMARY STATEMENT CONCERNING THE NATURE OF ALL
COMPLAINTS FILED WITH IT, ITS DECISIONS AND
ADVISORY OPINIONS, AND NAMES OF ALL OFFICERS OR
EMPLOYEES OF THE COUNTY AGAINST WHOM ADVERSE
ACTION RESULTED. THE ADVISORY OPINIONS SHALL BE
PUBLISHED WITH SUCH DELETIONS AS MAY BE NECESSARY
TO PREVENT DISCLOSURE OF THE IDENTITY OF THE
OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE INVOLVED.
M. THERE ARE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXPENDED FROM
SUMS APPROPRIATED TO THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE SUCH
MONIES AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS LAW.
N. THE BOARD SHALL DRAFT AND SUBMIT TO THE
COUNTY COUNCIL FOR FINAL APPROVAL A RESOLUTION
SETTING FORTH GUIDELINES AS TO HOW EMPLOYEES CAN
BEST ADHERE TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE. SUCH
RESOLUTION WILL BE SUBMITTED IN JANUARY OF EACH
YEAH. SUCH GUIDELINES SHALL ALSO SET FORTH
SUGGESTED RECOMMENDED BEHAVIOR FOR COUNTY
EMPLOYEES AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS.

A FORMER OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE IS PROHIBITED FOR A
PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, OR, IN THE CASE OF ELECTED
