AN ACT to repeal Section 39B of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Local Licenses and License Provisions"; to renumber present Section
8(k) to be new Section 8(1) of the same Article and title, subtitle "Beer
Licenses"; to add new Section 8(k) to the same Article, title and subtitle, to
follow immediately after Section 8(j) thereof; to renumber present Section 9(k)
to be new Section 9(1) of the same Article, title and subtitle; to add new Section
9(k) to the same Article, title and subtitle, to follow immediately after Section
9(j) thereof; to renumber present Section 10(k) to be new Section 10(1) of the
same Article, title and subtitle: to add new Section 10(k) to the same Article,
title and subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 10(i) thereof: to renumber
present Section 11(n) to be new Section 11(o) of the same Article, title and
subtitle: to add new Section 11(n) to the same Article, title and subtitle, to
follow immediately after Section 11(m) thereof; to renumber present Section
13(k) to be new Section 13(1) of the the same Article and title, subtitle "Beer
and Light Wine Licenses"; [land]] to add new Section 13(k) to the same
Article, title and subtitle to follow immediately after Section 13(j) thereof; to
renumber present Section 14(1) to be new Section 14(m) of the same Article,
title and subtitle: to add new Section 14(1) to the same Article, title and subtitle,
to follow immediately after Section 14(k) thereof: to renumber present Section
15(i) to be new Section 15(i) of the same Article, title and subtitle: [[and]] to
add new Section 15(i) to the same Article, title and subtitle, to follow
immediately after Section 15(h) thereof: to renumber present Section 16(j) to be
new Section 16(k) of the same Article, title and subtitle; to add new Section
16(j) to the same Article, title and subtitle, to follow immediately after Section
16(i) thereof: to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Sections 19(m), 21(i-l).
25(k), 106(d) and 106(e) of the same Article and title, subtitled "Beer. Wine and
Liquor Licenses". "Special and Temporary Licenses" and "Hours and Days for
Sale", respectively; and to repeal in its entirety Section 106(c) of the same
Article and title, subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale", and to add new Section
106(c) in lieu thereof, to stand in place of the Section so repealed," to provide
that in Worcester County there shall be certain fees set for certain alcoholic
beverage licenses, to alter certain hours and days of sale in certain areas of the
County, to delete the present authority to set those fees from the Worcester
County board of liquor license commissioners and to make this Act an
emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 39B be and is hereby repealed from Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Local Licenses and License Provisions"; that
present Section 8(k) of the same Article and title, subtitle "Beer Licenses," be and
it is hereby renumbered to be new Section 8(1) thereof; that new Section 8(k) be
and it is hereby added to the same Article, title and subtitle, to follow immediately
after Section 8(j) thereof: that present Section 9(k) of the same Article, title and
subtitle, be and it is hereby renumbered to be new Section 9(1) thereof: that new
Section 9(k) be and it is added to the same Article, title and subtitle, to follow
immediately after Section 9(j) thereof: that present Section 10(k) of the same
Article, title and subtitle, be and it is hereby renumbered to be new Section 10(1)
thereof: that new Section 10(k) be and it is hereby added to the same Article, title
and subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 10(j) thereof: that present Section
11(n) of the same Article, title and subtitle, be and it is hereby renumbered to be
new Section 11(o) thereof: that new Section 11(n) be and it is added to the same
Article, title and subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 11(m) thereof: that
