SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new Sections
13-306.1(a) 2(A), 13-306.2 (8) and 13-306.2A be, and
they are hereby added to the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 13, "Planning
and Zoning," Subtitle 3, "Alternate Zoning
Regulations," Article III, "Residential Districts,"
Heading "R5 — Residential Districts," respectively to
follow immediately after Sections 13—306.1 (a) (2),
13-306.2 (7) and 13-306.2 thereof, and to read as
follows:
SECTION 13-306.1(A)
(2A) CHURCHES AND ANCILLARY USES (IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 13-305.1(B)(1) OF THIS
HEADING) .
SECTION 13-306.2. SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS.
(8) TOWNHOUSES AND DWELLING UNIT COMPLEXES IN
CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT ONLY.
SECTION 13-306.2A. MAXIMUM DENSITY.
R5 - RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS SHALL HAVE A MAXIMUM
PERMITTED DENSITY OF FIVE (5) DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Section 13-306.1(a)(3) of said Code, Title, Subtitle,
Article and Heading, be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Section 13-306.1 (a)
(3) Dwellings, single family detached, duplex AND
semi—detached [, townhouse units (only in cluster
developments) ].
Section 2A. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Section 13-306.1 (b) (7) of said Code. Title, Subtitle,
article and heading be, and it is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That in
accordance with the provisions of Section 21—301 of
