OTHER DAYS OF THE WEEK.

(F) IN WICOMICO COUNTY, THE HOURS FOR EXERCISING ON A
SUNDAY THE PRIVILEGES CONFERRED BY A SEVEN DAY, CLASS A
(OFF SALE) BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE SHALL BE THE SAME
AS FOR THE OTHER DAYS OF THE WEEK.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED. That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 1375)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section 33 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Charles County (1969 Edition, 1972 Supplement, being
Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles
County", subtitle "County Commissioners", to provide for an increase in the
salary of the clerk of the County Commissioners of Charles County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 33 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County (1969 Edition, 1972 Supplement, being Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", subtitle "County
Commissioners", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

33.

He shall receive a salary as determined by the County Commissioners not to
exceed [seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500)] EIGHT THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($8,000) per annum, and shall receive no extra or other compensation
or fees of any kind for the duties now imposed upon himself by law, by the
provisions of this subtitle or otherwise.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.
