(House Bill 1342)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 8(g-l) and 13(g) of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1972 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer Licenses," and
"Beer and Light Wine Licenses," and to add new Sections 8(g-3), and 13(g-l) to
the same Article, title and subtitles, to follow immediately after Sections 8(g-2)
and 13(g) thereof, respectively, and to add new Sections 83(f) and 84(f) to this
Article and subtitle, to follow respectively after Sections 83(c) and 84(e), to
provide for certain six and seven day licenses, and for licensing fees for six and
seven day licenses for certain beer, and beer and light wine sales, providing for
the hours for exercising on a Sunday the privileges conferred by these seven-day
licenses, and to clarify the language and numbering therein.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 8(g-l) and 13(g) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Beer Licenses," and "Beer and Light Wine Licenses,"
respectively, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments;
and that new Sections 8(g-3) and 13(g-l) be and they are hereby added to the same
Article, title and subtitles, to follow immediately after Sections 8(g-2) and 13(g),
respectively, and that new Sections 83(1) and 84(1) be and they are hereby added to
this Article and subtitle, to follow respectively after Sections 83(e) and 84(e), and
to read as follows:

(g-1) In Kent land Wicomico counties] COUNTY the annual license fee for
such a license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).

(G-3) IN_ WICOMICO COUNTY THERE IS A SIX DAY, AND A SEVEN
DAY, CLASS A (OFF SALE) BEER LICENSE.

(1)    IN WICOMICO COUNTY THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE FOR A
SIX DAY LICENSE SHALL BE $100.00.

(2)        THE LICENSE FEE FOR A SEVEN DAY LICENSE IN
WICOMICO COUNTY SHALL BE $125.00.

(g) In Frederick land Wicomico counties] COUNTY the annual license fee for
such a license shall be $70.

(G-1) IN WICOMICO COUNTY THERE IS A SIX DAY, AND A SEVEN
DAY, CLASS A (OFF SALE) BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE.

(1)    IN WICOMICO COUNTY THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE FOR A
SIX DAY LICENSE SHALL BE $150.00.

(2)        THE LICENSE FEE FOR A SEVEN DAY LICENSE IN
WICOMICO COUNTY SHALL BE $175.00.

(F) IN WICOMICO COUNTY, THE HOURS FOR EXERCISING ON A
SUNDAY THE PRIVILEGES CONFERRED BY A SEVEN DAY, CLASS A
(OFF SALE) BEER LICENSE SHALL BE THE SAME AS FOR THE
