be considered the exclusive test of good moral
character, and the Director may consider any relevant
facts which may bear on the good moral character of
the applicant.]]
Section 12-1347. Appeals.
Any person who shall be aggrieved by any of the
provisions of this Subtitle, may file a notice of
appeal with the County Board of Appeals, pursuant to
Article 25A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and
Article VI of the Charter of Anne Arundel County (and
any ordinance, rules or regulations adopted pursuant
thereto).
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Sections 12-1316A, 12-1322 (c), 12-1324A and 12-1350
be, and they are hereby added to said Code, Title and
Subtitle, to follow immediately after Sections
12-1316, 12-1322 (b), 12-1324 and 12-1349 thereof,
respectively, and to read as follows:
Section 12-1316A.
Vehicles more than two (2) model years old may
not be [[licenses]] LICENSED for [[uses]] USE as a
taxicab. Effective May 1, 1974, vehicles having a
chronological age of more than [[four (4)]] SIX (6)
years may not be operated as taxicabs.
Section 12-1322. Same - Inspections - Generally
(c) Failure to have a taxicab inspected in
accordance with this section shall be grounds for
suspension or revocation of the permit.
Section 12—1324A. Non—paying passengers.
Non—paying passengers shall only be transported
by the driver of a vehicle if they are in training or
if any off—duty sign is adequately displayed[[;
provided, however, if a police officer requests the
use of a taxicab in the performance of his official
duty, the driver shall transport said officer or
assist him in any way possible]].
Section 12—1350. Insurance Requirements.
