COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
12-1336 (c) and 12-1337 to said Code, Title and
Subtitle, be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Section 12-1307. Same - Fees.
An annual registration fee of [eight] [[fifty]]
TWENTY-FIVE dollars [ [ ($50.00) ]] ($25.00) for each
licensed taxicab issued prior to November first, and
[four] [[TWENTY-FIVE]] FIFTEEN dollars [ [ ($25.00) ] ]
($15.00) for any issued thereafter [, and an
additional sum of fifty cents for issuing such permit
card shall accompany each application for a permit
card ].
Section 12-1310. Same - Attached to outside rear;
number to be painted on rear
window.
Permit [cards] TAGS shall at all times be
attached to the outside rear of the taxicab. In
addition thereto, the number of the permit shall be
painted on both sides near the rear window of the
taxicab, four inches above the lower edge of such
window, in figures two and one—half inches high.
Section 12—1313. Same - By owner if cab out of
service; return of permit card,
etc., when cab out of service.
Every owner of a taxicab which discontinues
services, whether by junking his vehicle, selling,
transferring title or PERMANENTLY discontinuing its
uses as a taxicab, or if the tags are stolen or the
registration of the vehicle has been revoked by the
department of motor vehicles, then the owner shall
notify the department of inspections and permits
within forty-eight hours thereafter. When the taxicab
is so out of service, all permit cards or other papers
issued by the Department of Inspections and Permits
shall be returned to the department by the owner, with
notice that the taxicab is out of service. THE OWNER
WITHDRAWING A TAXICAB FROM SERVICE SHALL OBLITERATE
ALL MARKINGS IDENTIFYING THE VEHICLE AS A TAXICAB.
Section 12—1317. Same — Mechanical condition generally;
chains, bumpers.
All taxicabs operating under county permits shall
