seconds West 221.56 feet to an Iron Pipe; thence (4) South 22 degrees 57 minutes
06 seconds West 310.37 feet to an Iron Pipe; thence (5) South 64 degrees 16
minutes 54 seconds East 24.96 feet; thence (6) South 22 degrees 55 minutes 06
seconds West 83.00 feet to an Iron Pipe and the northerly side of Beaumont
Avenue; thence (7) by and with the northerly side of said avenue, North 67 degrees
04 minutes 54 seconds West 181.00 feet to an Iron Pipe; thence (8) North 29
degrees 45 minutes 59 seconds West 4321.22 feet to a Concrete Monument on the
northerly side of West Maple Avenue; thence (9) by and with the easterly side of
the farm, known as "Tanyard," North 10 degrees 00 minutes 52 seconds East
497.37 feet to a Concrete Monument and the southwest corner of the land of the
Commissioners of Trappe; thence (10) North 61 degrees 05 minutes 03 seconds
East 1151.36 feet to the northwest corner of the Town of Trappe; thence by and
with the westerly side of the said Town of Trappe, the following three courses and
distances; (11) South 00 degrees 46 minutes West 1620.40 feet; thence (12) South
86 degrees 48 minutes East 867.34 feet; thence (13) South 12 degrees 46 minutes
56 seconds East 2492.29 feet to the Place of Beginning, containing 105.463 Acres
of Land, more or less.

PETITIONS:

Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust Company, on behalf of the Thomas Estate,
submitted a petition for annexation to the City of Westminster. Thereafter, upon
MOTION of Mr. Riley, seconded by Mr. Babylon and duly passed, the subject
petition was accepted.

RESOLUTIONS:

Resolution No. R72-2 - Timber Ridge (Westminster Church Homes, Inc.) was
unanimously approved for passed on MOTION of Mr. Babylon, seconded by Mr.
Eckard and duly passed.

RESOLUTION NO. R72-2

Whereas, a petition has been presented to The Mayor and Common Council of
Westminster to enlarge the corporate boundaries of the said city by the annexation
of land adjoining and contiguous to said corporate boundaries, and

Whereas, the President of the Council has caused to be made a verification of
the signatures upon said petition and has ascertained that the persons signing the
petition represent at least twenty-five per centum (25%) of the persons who reside
in the area to be annexed, and who are registered voters in county elections in the
