Gentlemen:

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 17A of Article 23A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, I submit herewith a compilation and set of the measures taken
by the Town of Mt. Airy to enact, amend and repeal sections of its municipal
charter, as follows:

1.    On May 4, 1970 in the municipal election, Sec. 258 entitled, "Temporary
Borrowing", was amended by deleting from Line 3 thereof the words, "Six
Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00)", and substituting in place thereof the words, "Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00)".

2.     Annexation Resolution No. 5 was enacted on August 31, 1971, effective
October 16, 1971, annexing three tracts of land containing 419.581 acres to the
Town of Mount Airy.

3.    Annexation Resolution No. 6 was enacted on July 10, 1972, effective August
28, 1972 annexing 0.692 acres of land to the Town of Mount Airy.

4.     Annexation Resolution No. 7 was enacted on October 2, 1972, effective
November 17, 1972 annexing 60.802 acres of land to the Town of Mount Airy.

Enclosed herewith are copies of the three Annexation Resolutions.
