HAMPSTEAD                                             2261

Beginning for the same at a pipe at the beginning point described in a deed
from Mary E. Wells, widow, to Homer W. Snyder and wife, dated March 2, 1967
and recorded among the Land Records of Carroll County in Liber C.C.C. No.
417, Folio 679, etc., said pipe also being at the end of the first or North 88 3/4
degrees East 221.2 foot line in a deed from Inez L. Nelson, widow, to Homer W.
Snyder, dated May 19, 1947 and recorded among the said Land Records in Liber
E.A.S. No. 194, folio 427, etc., running thence binding on the first above
mentioned deed the five following lines as now surveyed by magnetic bearings as
given in said deed, North 03 degrees 22 minutes 30 seconds East 33.50 feet to a
pipe, South 88 degrees 50 minutes East 280.40 feet to a pipe 19.5 feet Southwest of
the centerline of the present road-bed of Black Rock Road, thence running along
the Southwest side of that road and correcting the course of the first above
mentioned deed to correspond with the calls of that deed, South 48 degrees 08
minutes 30 seconds East 123.40 feet to a stake 12 feet Northwest of the centerline
of Mott Avenue (formerly called Wells Avenue), thence running in that avenue the
two following lines and correcting the courses in the first aforementioned deed.
South 52 degrees 10 minutes 30 seconds West 57.70 feet to a pipe 15 feet
Southeast of the center and South 88 degrees 19 minutes West 334.67 feet to a
bolt 8 feet North of the center and to the end of the South 03 degrees 50 minutes
West 100 foot line in the deed above mentioned from Nelson to Snyder, thence
binding on that deed and still running along the North side of Mott Avenue, South
89 degrees 18 minutes 50 seconds West 215.29 feet to a bolt 10.5 feet North of the
center of Mott Avenue and 3.5 feet East of the center of the macadam of an alley,
thence running in that alley and still binding on the last mentioned deed, North 00
degrees 01 minute West 100.00 feet to a bolt 6 feet East of the center and to the
beginning point of the last mentioned deed, thence binding on that deed, North 89
degrees 22 minutes 30 seconds East 221.20 feet to the place of beginning,
containing 1.467 acres of land, more or less.

Being all of the same land described in the deed from Mary E. Wells, widow, to
Homer W. Snyder and Marie L. Snyder, his wife, dated March 2, 1967 and
recorded among the said Land Records in Liber C.C.C. No. 417, folio 679, etc.,
and also being all of the same land conveyed by deed from Lola M. Binkley,
single, to Homer W. Snyder and Marie L. Snyder, his wife, dated June 25, 1956
and recorded among said Land Records in Liber E.A.S. No. 263, folio 104, etc.

And be it further RESOLVED that from and after the effective date of this
Resolution, all persons who will reside in the area to be annexed and the property
shall be and become residents of and the property within the Town of Hampstead.

And be it further RESOLVED that the real estate so annexed shall become
subject to the municipal property taxes, effective with the levy of July 1, 1970.

And be it further RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective on
the 46th day following its final enactment.
