AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Engineer of the City of
Hagerstown be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to amend and change the
boundaries of such district as may be necessary on the Zone District Map
aforesaid to henceforth show the classification of the aforesaid area last described
as a "Retail Business District" rather than a "Residental A District."

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the aforesaid Resolutions relative
to zoning shall take effect when and if the aforesaid Resolution regarding
annexation shall become effective as above set forth.

HOMER SNYDER ANNEXATION

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION NO. 2

Whereas, a petition has been presented to the Mayor and Council of the Town
of Hampstead to enlarge the corporate boundaries of said Town by the annexation
of land south and east of, and contiguous to, the corporate limits of said Town;
and

Whereas, the Mayor, as President of the Council, has caused to be made a
verification of the signatures upon said petition and has ascertained that the
persons signing the petition are the owners of said parcel, there being no residents
therein.

It is, therefore, RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Hampstead that all of the land lying within the boundaries of the hereinafter
described parcel shall be annexed and become a part of the Town of Hampstead."

All that lot or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Eighth Election
District of Carroll County, Maryland, and more particularly described as follows:
