northerly line of the land of Elizabeth B. Banks; thence with the northerly line of

way of Muddy Branch Road, said point being the extreme southwesterly corner of
the whole tract; thence with the east side of the traveled way of Muddy Branch

(11)  N 08 °14' 53" W - 221.01 feet to a point in the southerly line of Shady
Grove Village, said point being the extreme northwesterly corner of the whole
tract; thence departing the east side of the traveled way of Muddy Branch Road
and running with the southerly line of Shady Grove Village

(12)  N 89 °44' 23" E - 1170.35 feet to the point of beginning and containing
91.8902 acres."

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Gaithersburg, that this Resolution shall become effective forty-five (45) days
following its adoption, unless a prompt Petition for Referendum thereon shall be
filed as permitted by law.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the notice of Public Hearing, as required
by law, be published in The Gaithersburg Gazette, a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Gaithersburg, once each week in the weeks of August 5,
August 12, August 19, and August 26, 1971, said notice to provide for a public
hearing to be held on September 20, 1971, at 8 P.M. in the Council Chambers of
the Mayor and Council, 31 South Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
