of an individual licensee. Whenever such individual licensee directing, controlling,
in charge of or managing the [business] PRINCIPAL OFFICE OR ANY
INDIVIDUAL BRANCH OFFICE of a firm, association, or corporation licensed
hereunder shall for any reason terminate his direction, control, charge or
management of such licensee [(whether by reason of death or otherwise)], the
[business] PRINCIPAL OFFICE OR BRANCH OFFICE of such licensee may
be continued licensed hereunder for a period of [six months] NINETY (90)
DAYS, EXCEPT THAT IF THE TERMINATION WAS CAUSED BY
DEATH OF, OR INCAPACITATING INJURY TO, THE LICENSEE, THE
PRINCIPAL OFFICE OR BRANCH OFFICE OF THE LICENSEE MAY BE
CONTINUED LICENSED HEREUNDER FOR A PERIOD OF SIX
MONTHS; AND at the end of [which] EITHER period AS THE CASE MAY
BE, such firm, association or corporation's license shall be revoked unless another
licensee shall have assumed the direction, control, charge or management of such
firm, association, or corporation. [[THE PRINCIPAL OFFICE AND EACH
BRANCH OFFICE SHALL BE MAINTAINED DURING NORMAL OFFICE
HOURS BY ANY PERSON, FIRM, ASSOCIATION, OR CORPORATION
LICENSED HEREUNDER FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERMITTING
ACCESS TO THE LICENSEE BY THE PUBLIC AND LAW
ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES.]]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 150
(House Bill 451)

AN ACT to add new Section 132A to Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Natural
Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading
"Upland and Migratory Game Birds and Game Animals," to follow
immediately after Section 132 thereof, to require those persons hunting or
pursuing deer [[or turkey 11 and their aiders or assistants to wear or display
clothing or material of a daylight fluorescent orange color and provide a penalty
for failure to wear such clothing or material and with certain exceptions

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 132A be and it is hereby added to Article 66C
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish," subheading "Upland and Migratory Game Birds and Game Animals," to
follow immediately after Section 132 thereof, and to read as follows:

132A.

ANY PERSON WHILE HUNTING OR PURSUING DEER [[OR
TURKEY]] AND EVERY PERSON ACCOMPANYING, AIDING, OR
ASSISTING ANOTHER PERSON TO HUNT OR PURSUE DEER [[OR
TURKEY]], SHALL WEAR OR DISPLAY IN A CONSPICUOUS
MANNER ON HIS HEAD, CHEST, OR BACK, CLOTHING OR
MATERIAL OF A DAYLIGHT FLUORESCENT ORANGE COLOR. ANY
