the Mayor and Council of the City of College Park, Maryland,
INCLUDING ALL OF THOSE POWERS ENUMERATED UNDER
SECTION 22 OF ARTICLE 23B, 1966 REPLACEMENT VOLUME,
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND, 1957 EDITION, EXCEPT AS
MAY OTHERWISE BE INCONSISTENT WITH THE HEREIN
CHARTER, IN WHICH CASE THE HEREIN CHARTER SHALL
GOVERN.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of College
Park, Maryland, that the aforegoing proposed amendment shall be posted at
the Municipal Building, 4500 Knox Road, College Park, Maryland, for a
period of at least forty days following its adoption and shall further be
published in the Prince George's Post once in each of four successive weeks
before the 17th day of September, 1972.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of College
Park, Maryland, that the proposed amendment will come and be considered
part of the municipal charter of the City of College Park on the 27th day of
September, 1972, unless a petition is filed pursuant to Article 23A, Section
13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition, as amended, said
petition to be filed on or before the 17th day of September, 1972.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
College Park that the foregoing Resolution be and the same is hereby
adopted this 8th day of August, 1972.

COLMAR MANOR

A RESOLUTION AND ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 16-5 providing for change in election day and change in age
requirement to be qualified voter of Town.
BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED, this 1st day of February, 1972, by the
Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor, Maryland, that Section 16-5 of
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County, Maryland
(1963 Edition), titled "Colmar Manor," be repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, and to read as follows:
[16.5. SAME: TENURE, ELECTIONS, VOTERS. At the first election of
officers held under the charter, hereby provided to be held on the second Tuesday
in July, 1931, the qualified voters of said town shall elect a Mayor to serve a term
