COLLEGE PARK                                          2165

Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 'B' as shown on said plat
recorded in Plat Book WWW 65 as Plat No. 55, said point also being the angle
point in the rear line of Lot 3, Block 'R' as shown on a plat of subdivision entitled
"College Park Woods" and recorded among the aforesaid Land Records in Plat
Book WWW 37 as Plat No. 61 and running thence with the dividing line between
the land of the U.S.A. Department of Agriculture and said Lots 1 and 2, Block 'B'
in an easterly direction to the northeast corner of said Lot 2, Block 'B'; thence
running in a southerly direction to the southeast corner of the aforesaid Lot 11,
Block 'A'; thence running in a westerly direction with the southerly line of the
aforesaid Block 'A' to the southwest corner of Lot 9, Block 'A' as shown on the
aforesaid plat recorded in Plat Book WWW 65 as Plat No. 55; thence running in a
northerly direction with the existing boundary of the City of College Park to the
point of beginning; containing 6.9892 acres.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this Resolution shall become
effective forty five (45) days after its adoption unless within the forty five (45) day
period following its adoption a proper petition for referendum has been filed with
the Mayor.

RESOLUTION 72-R-29

A Resolution to amend Article XV of the Charter of the City of College Park,
titled General Powers, to confer upon the Mayor and Council all of those powers
enumerated under Section 22 of Article 23B of the Annotated Code of Maryland

WHEREAS, the City of College Park is desirous of assuring that it has all of the
powers granted to municipalities generally by virtue of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Article XV of the Charter of the
City of College Park is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:

ARTICLE XV

General Powers

§ 62. Vesting and exercising of general powers.

And be it further enacted, That all authority, powers, rights, privileges, and
benefits of any kind whatsoever which are, or may hereafter be, granted to
municipalities generally by the government of the United States, the
Government of the several States, the General Assembly of Maryland or
under the Code of General Public Laws of Maryland, and Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, shall be vested in and exercised by
