Post once in each of four successive weeks before the 12th day of August, 1972.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the

Mayor and Town Council of Brentwood, Maryland, that the proposed amendment
will become and be considered a part of the Municipal Charter of the Town of
Brentwood on the 22nd day of August, 1972, unless a petition is filed pursuant to
Article 23(a), Section 13, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition as
amended, said petition to be filed on or before the 12th day of August, 1972.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED By the

Mayor and Town Council of Brentwood, Maryland, that the aforegoing Resolution
and Ordinance be and the same is hereby adopted this 3rd day of July, 1972, by
the Mayor and Town Council of BRENTWOOD, MARYLAND.

Charter Amendment 72-2

MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF BRENTWOOD, MARYLAND

A RESOLUTION AND ORDINANCE to amend Section 6-14 of the Code of
Public Laws of Prince George's County, Maryland, (1963 Edition) titled,
"Brentwood," and subtitled, "Officers; appointment, duties," being a part of the
Charter of the Town of Brentwood, Maryland, and adding a new Section 6-14(f),
providing that the Mayor and Town Council may contract with law enforcement
agencies for police service within the corporate limits of Brentwood.

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED By the

Mayor and Town Council of Brentwood, Maryland, that Section 6-14 of the Code
of Public Laws of Prince George's County, Maryland, (1963 Edition), titled,
"Brentwood," and subtitled, "Officers; appointment, duties," being a part of the
Charter of the Town of Brentwood, Maryland, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
